When a prospective client emails you from her vacation in Mexico you know not only is she going to be dedicated, but something tells you it is “meant to be”.

When Sarah first contacted me, she was frustrated with the lack of results she was getting from her cardio workouts. She was looking for some guidance on how to get started with strength training and what type of weight lifting routine would be best for her body. She also wanted help figuring out what was going on with her nutrition. Not only was she not as toned and fit as she wanted to be but, she was constantly bloated, tired and just not feeling “good”. I was super excited to get her in the gym and narrow down what changes she could make with her workouts and eating habits to look and FEEL better!

The crazy but super common thing about Sarah’s story is, she wasn’t eating junk food or anything super “unhealthy”. She was making an effort to eat “pretty healthy”, but she was unknowingly eating foods her body had an intolerance for. Same with her workouts, she was hitting the gym pretty consistently and not seeing any changes. By adding in strength training sessions and making adjustments to her daily nutrition, she was finally able to see the results and feel the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle!

Here’s what she had to say about working with BbE!

What inspired you to reach out to Emilee?

I spent many months looking for a personal trainer that was going to fit my style and help me with my needs. After a lot of research I finally came across Emilee’s page I instantly knew that she was going to be an amazing fit for me. I wanted someone that I knew was going to make me not only achieve my fitness goals but also feel good mentally. From my first meeting with Emilee I knew she was going to be perfect and I was 110% Correct!

What are the biggest changes you’ve experienced from working with BbE?

Prior to working with Emilee I was constantly feeling like i was at a dead stop with my fitness goals and I was having many dietary issues such as bloating, fatigue, and just all around not feeling very well. Emilee took the time to sit down with me and carefully look at my diet and help me figure out how I could feel better. With Emilee’s expertise we nailed down that gluten and dairy were the sources of my issues. Emilee put me on a clean healthy plan with no dairy and gluten and it’s been life changing. All my dietary issues have gone away and I have never felt better. It used to be rare when I had a day where I felt good and after working with Emilee its rare to have a day that I feel anything but AMAZING! Emilee has helped me in ways I couldn’t be more thankful for. Our workouts are absolutely amazing and everyday I get more toned and feel better.

What do you love the most about training with Emilee?

What I love about training with Emilee is how amazing and inspirational she is. I look forward to training with Emilee every single week. It’s one of the best parts of my day! It’s not just a routine workout but a lifestyle. She is such an inspiration and has the best personality. She is motivational, uplifting, and makes you feel like you are on top of the world! To say the least, Emilee is the absolute best and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!ย

These moments and pictures don't even come close to capturing the stories, connections + the incredible beauty and energy from the Meditation Workshop I hosted with a group of clients at @archipalegoclub.โ  ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

We explored how to create a meditation practice that WORKS for you! We talked through the whens and wheres, but also really focused on the why and how to build more purpose into a meditation practice.โ 

I think of my daily meditation practice as a powerful tool I use to shift my energy in order to heal, transform, elevate, regulate or show up for my clients, my husband, my son and in my life as the most centered, grounded, present and expanded version of myself! โ 

I truly believe changing your energy is essential to changing anything. โ 
Dr. Joe Dispenza said, โ 
โ€œNobody changes until they change their energyโ€”and when you change your energy, you change your life.โ€โ 

If meditation is just something you are checking off your to-do list, is it really having an impact?? I believe if you are spending the time to do it, it should. โ 

One of the first steps you can take to create a more impactful practice is to define a purpose for your meditation each day. Focusing on the energy or area of your life where you want to shift or change, supports having a more empowered, fulfilling meditation practice. โ 

I'll share more of what we talked about in future posts, but for now, establish where and when you can meditate and imbue it with a purpose.
