The amazing women I work with are as unique and individual as their “goals”. I love being able to meet them wherever they are in their fitness, nutrition and/or wellness journey and show up for them with focused guidance, accountability support or whatever else they need.
When Ashley approached me, it was no different. She wanted help building strength and a movement foundation that would take her fitness to the next level. She had been taking my group fitness classes for a while and I was beyond excited to work with her one on one!
To start, we took baseline measurements of her endurance and the strength moves she wanted to improve. We focused on the basics of form using weights that would challenge but not overwhelm or injure her. She started prioritizing her fitness and getting consistent with a weekly routine. Through a combination of strength sessions with me and cardio and/or classes on her own she started to see and feel a real difference!
Over the next year, not only was she able to achieve her goal of getting physically stronger, she incorporated mindfulness practices into her daily routine that helped keep her cope with anxiety and stay grounded despite a stressful job and schedule.
Strong, confident, empowered, centered and able to endure through a tough cardio workout and anything else that comes along. Watching her thrive in a healthier lifestyle is truly incredible!

Investing in yourself is never easy.
You feel selfish. Or maybe unworthy. Why pay for this when you could put that money toward something else..anything else really?
It is a hard first step but it is one worth taking.
I made the step in April 2019 when I cautiously approached Emilee after class and asked her if she did personal training. I attend classes on and off at Club Form in Denver (highly recommend this gym!) and usually attended Emilee’s classes. They were high energy and welcoming with clear instruction and a kickass soundtrack! But I missed the foundational steps for this class and knew I needed a refresh.
Emilee’s approach is tailored to her individual client and together we came up with an approach to meet my goal of being stronger. Over the course of the next year, we worked together every week to make that goal a reality.
This time during my life was tumultuous, even before the pandemic hit. I was dealing with life stress and a job situation that was burning me out. Emilee went above helping me physically and gave me the tools to work on stress in an authentic way, through meditation and journaling.
Emilee gave me foundation to help me stay physically and mentally fit – which will stay with me for the rest of my life. She was gracious with her time, her knowledge, and her friendship. I am so happy to continue using what she has given me to stay sane and stay strong.
