HER STORY

How could you not be in awe of this beautiful girl? Radiating happiness, health, fitness and femininity! Not only do I have the pleasure of working with Kate, I also get to share the story of her healthy lifestyle transformation.

Kate came to me wanting to take her fitness to the next level for her wedding, and also create a healthy lifestyle she could sustain. At the time, her workouts were primarily running, yoga and barre class. She was what most would consider thin, but she felt "skinny fat" and wanted to see and feel more muscle tone and definition. Her nutrition consisted of a lot of "healthy girl junk foods" (ie. sugar loaded, protein bars, peanut butter, almonds as well as low calorie, low nutrient dense foods); but not nutrient dense foods (ie. vegetables and protein). One of the first things I did was add strength training to her weekly workout schedule. These additional strength training workouts each week were exactly what she needed to build lean muscle and feel tighter, toned and strong. Next, I went to work on her nutrition, giving her meal and snack ideas that were convenient, delicious as well as more nutrient rich and filling. The results speak for themselves! Kate absolutely loved the muscle definition and changes she saw in her physique. She kept her feminine figure, and felt fit and healthy! Same with the changes to her nutrition. As soon as she understood what foods were going to help her lose the weight she wanted and support feeling energized, fueled and satisfied...she was "in"! All of these little lifestyle tweaks added up to some pretty amazing changes! She loves the way she looks and feels and has fully embraced her "new" healthy lifestyle.

How has working with me changed the way you approach fitness?

I’ve learned how to increase the intensity and really move the needle in my workouts through interval and strength training. Almost a year later, I’ve seen how my body composition has totally changed!

How did working with with me improve your nutrition?

Besides gaining muscle, what I truly gained was a partner in my healthy lifestyle journey. Emilee listens to what your nutrition and fitness goals are and provides you with a kick-ass strategy on how to achieve those goals. I have worked with personal trainers and nutritionists before, working with BbE is different….Emilee takes the time to get to know you, to know what your schedule is like, what foods you crave and then gives you an awesome plan of action. With no gimmicks. Through BbE I’ve learned to eat “right” nutrient dense foods not the so-called ”healthy” foods I was eating before.

Have you been able to maintain your healthy lifestyle?

YES! Emilee has taught me a LONG TERM health plan that is sustainable and actually easy to maintain. BbE has given me forever-lasting motivation for maintaining my healthy lifestyle - which is make every aspect of it enjoyable. I now love what I eat. I love my exercise. I love the way it makes me feel. And most importantly -  I love that I don’t have to be perfect! I love that I can relax and can enjoy occasional yummy “fun” foods.
